Women in Manufacturing (WiM) Arizona and the City of Avondale are proud to host Makers and Mentors, an impactful panel discussion event designed to bridge the gap between education and industry by highlighting the power of mentorship in manufacturing and the skilled trades. Event highlights will include hearing from a panel of expert industry professionals on the impact of mentorship on career readiness and workforce development, how businesses can build and sustain effective mentorship programs, real-world success stories of mentorship transforming lives, and strategies to engage and inspire young people to pursue rewarding careers in the skilled trades. While the event highlights women in manufacturing, Makers and Mentors is open to and welcomes participation from all. With limited seats, early registration is encouraged.
