Description
The Arizona Veterans Expo 2020 is open to everyone. The only restriction to the general populous is the Job fair. This is reserved for veterans only. All veterans will be vetted prior to entering the job fair. This event is to educate and inform members of our military community, active and veterans. From every branch of service and their families. This Expo is an opportunity for veterans to educate themselves about the many resources, benefits, products and services available to them by local organizations. Veterans can meet various resource vendors who are offering assistance to both them and their families. These veteran resource vendors represent veteran service providers, VA benefit organizations, nonprofit organizations and local business providers. More than 50 local and national veterans services organizations have been invited to participate in the inaugural Arizona Veterans expo! Their participation will help ensure that this Arizona Veterans expo will be the absolute best veterans event in Arizona! There will be 4 different sections in the Arizona Veterans expo it will consist of Veteran resources, Job Fair, The Car show & Bike show and charity Poker Run. The Arizona Veterans expo is being held to ensure that all veterans are aware of the benefits they have earned. Veterans will be able to meet and talk to veteran resource vendors who are interested in their wellbeing and represent, healthcare professionals, VA benefit organizations, education/training providers. The Job Fair gives veterans the opportunity to meet with employers face-to-face and have a preliminary interview and submit their resumes. The Car show & Bike show is to bring the community and veterans together and have a common interest in their love of car & motorcycles. The Poker Run used to draw in people that want to have a little extra stuff to do and enjoy the weather going from place to place and seeing the city while enjoying the company of other vets and supporters of vets. Other features that will be available at the event is Kids corner with bounce houses, games and building projects for kids of all ages. Concert will be held during the duration of the event to give some entertainment while people enjoy the day. Different types of food vendors will also be available along with merchandise vendors selling various types of goods. We would like to have local breweries set up booths at the location so the veterans and the community have the opportunity to sample local ale.
